About Me

Hopeful Wanderer

I am a photojournalist / humanitarian documentary photographer, graphic designer and college professor. I am a tea drinker, a dog person, a cyclist and I love working with children and young adults.

My travels have taken me to well over 35 countries including much of South America, Europe and Africa and two forays into Asia (so far). My favorite country is always the next one. I love children and telling the stories of those who cannot speak for themselves. I have worked for many years as a graphic designer specifically in magazine publishing, but always knew that one day I would use my MA degree in photojournalism. During a three year missions assignment with OneHope a few years back doing work as a media specialist my passion for travel, telling compelling stories of hope and the plight of the world's children was reignited and I haven't stopped since. I am also a photography professor at Valley Forge Christian College where I enjoy communicating these skills and passion to the next generation.

I am available for photography assignments. I specialize in children's & womens photography and issues. I am also an event photographer based in the greater Philadelphia area of the United States but willing to travel stateside and internationally.
